Writing lyrics in English or French

You are a performer (singer, songwriter, band) and you are are looking for a lyricist to write the lyrics of your song in French or English. You’ve never dared to write your own lyrics because you can’t manage, you find your style a bit “heavy”, etc… Or you’re looking to have lyrics written for your family (spouse, child), for a friend, to tell your story, or for an event (wedding, birth, etc.). Studio MMTP can write or rewrite song lyrics for you .

Our authors know how to put into words your feelings, emotions, revolts, desires, moods, your story… They create a universe while translating your personality. They juggle with words and find “effective” formulas that stick. If you listen to/read their texts, you’ll see that we work in many different styles(variety, French chanson, pop, rock, urban, soul, musical comedy, etc.). We can write lyrics in French or English. And we can write with or without a melody.

How does the writing go? song lyrics

MMTP studio lyricist
Once we’ve selected the author with whom you feel most in tune, we begin our long-distance work by gathering as much information as possible (by phone or e-mail) about what you want to say, about your personality, about what you like in terms of writing style or author. As with our work on composition ormusical arrangementhe will then propose a 1st draft of texts on which you can comment and give your opinion. He can then modify and propose a 2nd draft. And so on, until we arrive at the lyrics that “speak” to you the most, and that you feel are your own. We work with the following songwriters for French lyrics (CHRIS, ANGELO, LOGANN, ALAIN, PATRICE) and AURORA, RYK, TOM, JULY for English lyrics, because we find their lyrics nice/effective and modern (because sometimes, the lyrics are more like poems than lyrics…). Conditions and rates for writing a text are €150 (+ SACEM rights), €200 for Chris and €230 for Aurora. If you are interested in a tailor-made lyricist, please contact us.

Musical Arrangement

– Complete professional arrangement (drums, bass, guitar, synth, piano, percussion, etc.) of a song.
You can listen to our musical arrangements in our Before/After section)

– Maximum duration: 4min approx.

– Final production in about 3 weeks, in WAV/MP3, with instrumental version and possible vocal version. Export of STEMS (for Remix, PBO …) or separate tracks included.
With/without effects at extra charge.

– Arrangement fee (between €300 and €450) depending on the complexity of the arrangement.

– Arrangement payment

* Payment with a deposit (via bank transfer or Paypal) to launch the project and a 1st test arrangement.
* Payment of the balance (always via bank transfer or Paypal) when a test version is “validated”.
To launch the complete arrangement of the song, with the possibility of further modifications.

  • FREE MIXING and MASTERING

– Mixing of the track, for optimum quality before broadcasting.
– Mastering of the track using software (see our Before/After section to listen to the contribution of this mastering).

  • SACEM rights

10% arrangement rights (and part of the composition rights if changes are made to the chord/structure grid, etc.) will be credited to MMTP arrangers for the realization of an arrangement.

– Complete song creation (intro+couplet+chorus+bridge): chord grid (guitar or piano) + melody.
Production of a “sample” voice.
Excluding lyrics.

– Acoustic arrangement (piano or guitar) included.

– Maximum duration: 4 min approx.

–Production within approx. 2 weeks, in WAV/MP3, in instrumental version and possibly with your voice. STEMS export (ideal for Remix, PBO ..etc.) or separate tracks INCLUDED.

– Composition price: Between €250. Payment (with possibility of 50% deposit) via PAYPAL or bank transfer.

  • SACEM rights

The 50% music composition rights will be credited to the MMTP composers.

Voice recordings

Price €200

– Recording in MMTP Home-Studio in PARIS with coaching/advice on voice positioning, voice dubbing, harmonies (choir, etc.).
American-style recording techniques.

– Half a day of voice recording (principal, chorus, etc.).

– Listen to tracks by WISSEM (pop) or KHAYA (variety) or KORAH LEENE (Soul) to judge our vocal performance.

One-man voice processing

Voice processing

– Editing (cleaning of noise and breath tracks, rhythmic adjustment to the beginning and end of phrases), in-tune correction.
– Addition of effects to supplied vocal tracks (vocals and backing vocals).
– Addition of backing vocals if required.
– Integration of vocals with the instrumental.

– You can listen to theeffects of all these treatments on voices in our Before/After section.

– Studio work using professional software.

– Boosts vocals and the final rendering of a track (around 50% of the final rendering is linked to vocals).

– Cost of voice processing (between €150 and €200) depending on the number of tracks, quality of takes, chorus work, etc.

– Listen to tracks by WISSEM (pop) or KHAYA (variety) or KORAH LEENE (Soul) to judge our VOICE TAKING + TREATMENT services, or listen to the track by STELL’A (pop) for VOICE TREATMENT only.
